Hello! This page is for contributors.
Categories
- If you're adding someone else's wiki, make your best guess about the category.
- If a wiki could be put in more than one category, put it in more than one category.
- If a wiki has substantial content, but you don't know how to categorize it, put it under "Hmm."
Alphabetizing
Links
- If you're adding someone else's wiki, capitalize the wiki name in the link label as it appears on the site. If you don't know, just make the link label the same as the wiki name.
- You might want to expand/alter the wiki label slightly. That is, instead of putting [http://jokellybookseller.pbwiki.com/|jokellybookseller] or [http://jokellybookseller.pbwiki.com/|J O'Kelly Bookseller], you might want to put [http://jokellybookseller.pbwiki.com/|J. O'Kelly - Bookseller] as the wiki itself has it.
Descriptions
- Put the description (1 to 3 sentences) in quotes, whether you're making it up or quoting from the site. Or not. Maybe that's a dumb idea.
The Advanced Style Page
The idea is to keep this simple and easy to understand. Obviously, you could go wild - any HTML (and more) is fair game on PBwiki and so could potentially be discussed. So for emphasis, keep it simple.
- Discuss simple aspects of HTML and HTML that is most likely to be used or desired
- Describe 1 or 2 ways to do something, not every possible way
- Don't use deprecated code unless there's no other way
